Some physiological aspects of cobalt and vitamin B12 in sheep : I. Distribution of radiocobalt in tissues and ingesta; II. On mouse assay methods for vitamin B12
This thesis reports attempts to obtain further data on the distribution of cobalt in tissues, ingesta and excreta, in both organic and inorganic forms, of lambs fed radiocobalt over prolonged periods. Also discussed are two studies of vitamin B12 mouse assay methods, in lieu of data on vitamin B12 concentrations in the tissues, since published methods have thus far proven unsatisfactory in this laboratory.
